Dear Chip
I am happy to talk with you on the phone if you have additional questions.  My cell is 262 212 4174, I live in Milwaukee.
Regarding Richard and Marion Holmes it is a great place to hunt for plains games.  This was my fifth African safari.  It is a spot and stock hunt, no blinds.  There are large herds of black and blue wildebeest, zebra, impala, springbok, bleesbok, ostrich, and smaller numbers of diker and small plains game.  We also saw ardwolf and ant eaters which i had never seen before.
Our hunt was a 8 day hunt.  My high school senior son Russell and I were on a cull hunt and took 26 animals in 8 days.  We also took trophy sable, blue wildebeest, springbok and black springbok.  Richard is completely honest, in fact the most honest of any outfitter i have gone with anywhere in the world.  There was not a single additional expense beyond the daily rate and trophy fees.  Our guide was John who is a fun loving guy and a tactical hunter, he can get close and has great eyes and knows the area very well.  If you have never hunted ostrich its a trip.  They are very challenging to hunt and will test your stealth and its only $400.  The terrain is easy to walk with a little climbing but nothing to serious.
The breakfast was self serve, we took a packed lunch each day so we could stay out hunting if we elected to do so.  Dinner was great home cooking and excellent food.
The accommodations in camp are nice, with comfortable beds and in room plumbing.
I would also mention as a credit to Richard that he did not have a trophy sable or blue wildebeest to our liking and he arranged a trip to a neighbors ranch for us.  No additional costs. He is very very low pressure, you shot what you want and his focus is on helping you have a great time.
The other guide, LaLaSay (that is how you say it, i dont know how to spell it) is also very experienced and a lot of fun.
I hope this is helpful, they are great people and I highly recommend them
Call if you want more information.  I will send a few photos.
