Lechwe Red
Red Lechwe average 350 pounds live weight.
Live in herds on the open plains, preferably near water or moist habitats.
Only bulls have horns.
There are scent glands on the front legs where the dark hair is. The hooves are splayed to enable them to walk on mud and not sink in.
They eat mostly grass.
