Red Hartebeest
Hartebeest average 350 pounds live weight.
They are the fastest game animal in Africa !
Hartebeest live in herds on the open plains.
When hunting Hartebeest, most shots are taken at 150 - 300 yards.
Both bulls and cows have horns.
There are scent glands on the face below the eyes and between the front hooves.
Hartebeest eat mostly grass and Seldom drink water.
