All Springbok prefer open plains with little cover, so are a challenge to hunt.

Shots mostly from 150 - 200 yards.

Common Springbok occur in the tens of thousands so are the most common wild game animal in hunting south africa.

The rams weigh about 90 pounds and ewes about 60 pounds.

Kalahari Springbok look like common but are about fifty percent larger and lighter in colour than a common Springbok, a few occur here in our area.

The Common Springbok is the National animal of South Africa.

Grass and bushes are their main diet and Springboks do not need any drinking water to survive !
